fishing rods and zombies i was on creative mucking about with zombies, giving them armour, heads, tools and items. when i hooked the zombie (had a human head, held nothing) the fishing rod hood started to fly 2 blocks out of the zombie then back in then towards you 2 blocks then after a few seconds the hook including the line flew about 20 blocks away and hooked onto ground. then i reeled in the fishing rod and the zombie moved one block towards me even though the fishing rod had not been attached to the zombie. will work on any game mode |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue. Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been deliviered. |

Confirmed. Works on all mobs, wearing mob heads does not matter. Reproduced by casting the hook to the side of a mob. |
