| Description |

When I start up Minecraft normally and enter an existing world, the client gets stuck at the building terrain. What I expected to happen was to get into the game. What actually happened was that the client simply froze at the 'building terrain' part and then after a while it reverted back to the main screen. Steps to Reproduce: |

It's fixed in minecraft 1.4.6 but it's very laggy. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Sounds to me like you may have a corrupted world file (or something similar). Did at any point you close the client without quitting/saving? |

You should first remove your current java installation (should be in the 'remove programs' list), then download and install java from the java website here. |

Does this still occur if you downgrade your java version to 7u9 (the official release)? |
