This is not a bug in Minecraft, but a catched exception when the server could not write the <player>.dat files.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

This seems to me like a problem either with the permissions of the server or the world data folder. Does this still occur if you run the server as administrator? |
