 Description

If you do /kill in the multiplayer console window, it says 'You must specify a player to kill'. If you type '/kill <player>', instead of killing said player, it still errors out.

This bug was probably the cause of this other bug: MC-37586 and is now fixed I think.

"/kill" is a player-only commands, it only kills the player who used it,, don't work for targets use "/effect <player> 7 1 255" to kill another player and "/stop" to kill the server (LOL)

Sorry for my bad english, i'm brazlian...

Ticket MC-797 was closed as resolved, but this is definitely not resolved. From the multiplayer server console:

help 3

2013-02-09 19:22:24 [INFO] /kill

/kill

okay, let's try specifying a user:

/kill kiloforce
