 Description

One of the very first sounds a player hears is the sound of punching wood. Since the sound update, the wood punching sound has seemed broken. It seems that it is composed of many sounds stacked together. I've listened to the "wood click.ogg" file and it seems different as to what is actually being played. If the way this sounds is intentional, my apologies, but there very well may be a bug here.

What I expected to happen was...:
When I punch wood, I expect to hear a clean sound with no rubber band echo.

What actually happened was...:
The sound appears to be garbled or stacked with other sounds.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Put headphones on.
  2. Turn volume up.
  3. Start a new world.
  4. Punch a tree.
  5. Listen for the odd echo.

It looks like MC-470 is referring to the same thing. We posted the same issue within a minute of each other.

Seems as though it may be a duplicate of MC-470
