The minecraft updating screen stays stuck on and it never changes I left my computer on for a hour and nothing happened I deleted all my mods and texture packs and nothing happened and minecraft usually runs nice on my computer. |

Put your world folder on your desktop, delete .minecraft folder then login on the launcher and if it still does it your either not a premium account or something is really buggy with your computer, but if it does download and you can play, put your world folder back in the .minecraft folder and you wont have lost the worlds you play on. |

Have you renamed Minecraft.jar? (eg. to use a snapshot instead) Because that could be causing it. |
