This issue has been fixed in 17w47a.

Does this issue describe the gray outline that appears when you point at a block, or the physical hitbox that the player bumps into?

If the former, this is probably invalid because all such selector boxes are rectangular prisms (unless the intention is to simply make it taller). If the latter, this has been fixed for a while.

For what it's worth, the issue with the incorrect hitbox on the brewing stand is exaggerated for people with certain vision difficulties such as myself. It's often hard for me to figure out why I can't interact with the object I think I'm pointing at.

Comment by yut951121 [ 30/Jan/15 ]

Shape of hitbox can only be cuboid.

Comment by [Mod] Sonicwave [ 12/Oct/14 ]

Confirmed for 1.8. However, the not sneaking part is MC-2334.

Comment by [Mod] redstonehelper [ 30/Aug/14 ]

Sneaking on it refers to not falling off it when moving towards the edge.

14w21b:
The hitbox is still not correct

*Attached a screenshot where you can see that you can sneak on a brewing stand (maybe I understood you there wrong)

Confirmed for 1.7.9 and 14w17a

Comment by Paul Smith [ 22/Apr/14 ]

Well the rod isn't technically a full block up, so you can't sneak on it. Just like chests.

Comment by WolfieMario [ 06/Apr/14 ]

Confirmed in 1.7.5 and 14w11b. Can the version tags please be updated?

Comment by WolfieMario [ 27/Jan/14 ]

Confirmed in 1.7.4 and 14w04b.

Comment by Ryan Madsen [ 29/Jan/13 ]

Confirmed in 13w04a. It could've been used for parkour, but the sneaking mishap ends that idea.
