Once I updated to OSX 10.8 Some audio does not function correctly. Most noticeable is item pickups. Sound does not always play or is very faint. Torch placement seems muffled as well. There may be other sounds not working but I'm not sure it's been months since I have played without Mountain Lion. I noticed this with multiple macs. |

I have the same problem and i didn't find anything at the mojang support center. I think that this problem started when i downloaded mountain lion. Can someone help me? Cause this article shows as: resolved. I would appreciate if someone help me. |

I'm not sure how this is a technical support issue. There is a problem with minecrafts hooks into system audio. It is a problem that needs to be addressed and is specific to Minecraft and it's behavior with a newer operating system. |
