 Description

Get a bow that has an enchantment of fire aspect. Make a pyramid with an active beacon. Shoot an arrow directly at the beacon block, and the "stream" from it will start acting weird and will look rigid and messy. The attached pictures are intended to show this. (This may be a little hard to do.) Once the arrow is removed it will stay that way, unless you log-out and log back in.

Cannot reproduce in 13w23b.

Cannot reproduce in 1.5.1 due to the arrow teleportation bug.

Exactly, I adjusted the summary. That was the way the summary was supposed to be, but I guess I typed it in wrong.

There is no difference in the stream of light. Look at them carefully. No difference.

Comment by ReduxMC [ 14/Dec/12 ]

I uploaded the new photos.

Could you take a picture with the arrow on it, wait 2 minutes for the arrow to despawn, then without moving take a picture at the same position?

Just to make sure it isn't an illusion.

The new pic. was taken in Fullscreen and still shows the problem.

Comment by Callum Tennant [ 14/Dec/12 ]

Well, your screen is 854x480px. I wouldn't expect the textures to be smooth?

Comment by ReduxMC [ 13/Dec/12 ]

Yes, that is what I mean.

I do not have mods installed, and my graphics card is one of the latest Intel HD.

Comment by FireHunterX [ 13/Dec/12 ]

I think I see what you mean based on the screencaps.

Is it that the other beacons are straight and the one with the arrow on it looks jagged at the edges?

Comment by Callum Tennant [ 13/Dec/12 ]

I think it is either a shitty graphics card OR an illusion of how Minecraft graphics are rendered? I don't really see what the bug is.

Comment by FireHunterX [ 13/Dec/12 ]

Can't reproduce in either 1.4.5 or 12w50a.

Do you have any mods installed?

Comment by ReduxMC [ 11/Dec/12 ]

Can you see the way the stream looks in the photos?

Comment by ReduxMC [ 10/Dec/12 ]

I can now confirm it, yet it seems to be a little tricky. I did it on 2 of my friends Minecraft's both running 1.4.5.

Unable to reproduce. Are you sure your hardware isn't to blame?
