This also works for other types of Firework Rocket recipes. If you use 2 gunpowder + 1 gunpowder + 2 paper, you'll get 3 Firework Rockets with Flight Duration: 2 and also 3 Firework Rockets with Flight Duration: 1. |

Confirmed for 1.15.2 and 20w21a. Also, this affects Firework Stars, in addition to just Firework Rockets. For example, put 2 gunpowder, 2 cyan dye, and 1 wither skeleton skull in the crafting GUI, and shift click on the result. You wind up with two firework rockets, one of which is Creeper shaped and one of which is not. |

Confirmed for 1.13.1. Please, keep the ticket updated. |

This is really annoying since now in 1.11(.1/2) it now crafts rockets with flight duration 3 and then 2 and 1 if you put not even stacks of gunpowder and then shiftclick. Its not good at all and this will be a bigger problem now since people probably will craft more fireworks now when they actually have a function. |

Could somebody create a screenshot of the recipes used? Just to make it easier to understand what's going on. |

I think it has to do with NBTags. The crafted fireworks all share the same id, only the NBT dictates what color/effect is used. When you run out of firework stars, you run out of NBT basically, but you still have enough gunpowder/paper to create "blank" fireworks. |

I can confirm that this bug still exists in 14w04b. |

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w04b? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Confirmed. The main issue is that shift-clicking doesn't stop after the items of the recipe gunpowder + firework star + paper are used up, continuing to craft plain rockets from the recipe: paper + gunpowder. |

I think what he means is as follows: 1: Obtain or craft 1 or more Firework stars For a more extreme example, let's assume you have a stack of hard-earned gunpowder, a stack of paper, and a half stack of firework stars and want to make a grand fireworks display. You quickly place them on a grid like so: Expected behavior: shift clicking should only yield a group of 1 product (in the extreme example, only 32 explosive fireworks). The remaining input should remain in the crafting grid, and the NEXT output (non-explosive firework) should display. |

Cannot reproduce, did exactly as you wrote, got 32 fireworks, no rockets. |
