Resolving to MC-74764 since this is the root cause of this issue.

Regressed in 1.8.1 (and 1.8, as in MC-74764).

Comment by qmagnet [ 09/Aug/14 ]

Found no bug in 14w32d. Double F5 mode shows explosion particle from TNT with no issues.

Comment by zachary john palmer [ 27/Jan/14 ]

Confirmed for minecraft 14w04b with /particle command as well

Comment by Deleted account [ 26/Jan/14 ]

Confirmed for Minecraft 14w04b.

Comment by branza [ 17/Jan/14 ]

Confirmed in 1.7.4.

Comment by [Crispy] PokeCanada [ 26/Dec/12 ]

Sometimes Spawners act differently than how normal entities would appear. That's why the TNT would do that.

Comment by Kumasasa [ 24/Dec/12 ]

Confirmed with the specified world.
Not reproducible with a generated "default" world.

Comment by Kumasasa [ 09/Dec/12 ]

Changed screenshots (first set was in 3rd-person-behind mode)
