When I lit off a firework, I expected it to fly and explode. What actually happened was that the firework wen ten blocks then vanished. I've tried lighting it off at night when its not raining at all sorts of heights, but all get the same result To trigger it, simply try to use a firework in the new snapshot. |

Not sure if this is maybe intended behavior or not. The default crafting recipe (simply a gunpowder and a paper) yields a non-explosive firework - kind of like a Bottle Rocket. To make an explosive rocket, you need to craft said gunpowder and paper with a Firework Star (the star defines the explosion). |
