 Description

Fireworks disappear (or explode) quicker the more fireworks there are. Let's say I let off a firework and it takes 3 seconds for the exploding animation to complete. If I wire 10 dispensers ejecting lots of fireworks simultaneously, the fireworks will explode but will disappear A LOT quicker (in like 1 second).

No response in 8 months, assuming no longer an issue.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Definitely not a bug.

It causes that much lag. Try installing a smoke grenade mod and throw a couple of them at once. The massive amounts of particles lag the heck out of your game.

:/. I don't think it would cause that much lag? Definitely a bug.

Comment by Dean Baset [ 08/Dec/12 ]

Probably intended to prevent particle lag.

EDIT: Confirmed. Particles will disappear rather than fade away, so this supports that it is intended.
