 Description

Ok, so I was playing with redstone, suddently something weird happened. A piston (tested on both pistons, same thing) was powered with redstone and there was a pressureplate next to it. When I stepped on the pressureplate and the plate deactivated the piston quickly extends and retracks.

So exaclty how to do it:
Its so easy to do and hard do tell with words so I will just include a picture.

And this works with a normal piston and a sticky piston.

And one more weird thing is the redstone line to the piston must be five blocks or longer.
(Im sorry if I have bad english, I'm from Norway you know )

Comment by Alex de la Cruz [ 25/Jan/13 ]

I have several builds which were broken because of this bug, so I will test them all and I will see if this bug truly has been fixed.

Comment by Tails [ 25/Jan/13 ]

Confirmed, seems to be fixed.

Comment by Tim W [ 25/Jan/13 ]

As of 13w04a it is now resolved. Tested it several different ways.

Comment by Vincent Wiltschek [ 22/Jan/13 ]

Well in 13w03a it's still not fixed.

Comment by Tim W [ 21/Jan/13 ]

Hope this gets solved in the big redstone update...

Comment by Vincent Wiltschek [ 13/Jan/13 ]

Found out the details and how to reproduce it: MC-7441

Comment by Tails [ 27/Dec/12 ]

Applies to all powered mechanisms, changed summary to reflect this.

Comment by Anon Ymus [ 02/Dec/12 ]

Confirmed in vanilla.

Comment by Tails [ 01/Dec/12 ]

Ok, but it's definently related. Confirmed.

Comment by Daniel Liland [ 01/Dec/12 ]

No, its a different thing than MC-1263. Mine is getting unpowered when a pressure plate is unpowerig it when at the same time a redstone line is powering it. Its two different things. And the redstone line must be five or longer for it to work. Just try it yourself.

Duplicate of MC-1263.
