 Description

I had enchanted diamond armor, and it was a little broken, so I repaired it with an anvil. When I did that, the enchantment went away. I did the same thing with a sword, and the enchantment stayed.

What enchantment was it (the one on the chestplate)? Protection?
You should have mentioned it was level 10, because you can't normally get level 10, you'd have to hack it in with NBT tags. These little details do affect the outcome.

The armor was fully enchanted to level 10. I would say that that was why except that the sword was the same...

Cannot replicate. Any other information you could pass on? I tried it with both diamonds and diamond chestplates on the second slot, the enchantments stayed.
