 Description

If you stand on soul sand or any other block shorter than a full block, walking up to a ladder won't let you climb it. You need to jump to start climbing it.

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w04b? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Applies to all shorter than full blocks.

Comment by FireHunterX [ 22/Nov/12 ]

I assume this is due to Soul Sand being shorter than other blocks?

Comment by Chalmes (Jon) [ 22/Nov/12 ]

Confirmed. Just to clarify, while walking up to it won't automagically allow you to ascend the ladder, a quick jump gets you where you need to go.
