@Chalmes (Jon) You can still get a completely floating trapdoor or rail using a 1 pulse to leave it there and then safely destroy the piston without updating it |

Confirmed, ALTHOUGH in both those cases, breaking the piston drops the item. |

And yes, I searched, and couldn't find a bug like this one or one somewhat relative to this one. |
