| Description |
|
Blocks incorrectly able to be place on top of end portal frames include: all doors, redstone dust, repeaters, and comparators, all pressure plates, all rails, all torches, pots, and all banners. This applies beds, cauldrons, etc. as well but this only matters in survival since you can place a frame under a block in creative. |

actually none of those blocks should be able to be placed on the top of the end portal frame, due to not being a full block, |

Confirmed for 1.7.5, 1.7.9 and 14w17a |

|
Also, this block should be excluded from the anti-xray texture pass (currently it is not). |

Yes, this is still a concern, i tested it in 1.6.1 and it still applies. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Confirmed, but also applies to most other blocks that can be placed on normal sized blocks (torches, beds, etc.). |

Indeed they can. |
