When digging sand without a tool, occasionally a sound will play that isn't any of the sandX.ogg sound files. Re-downloading .minecraft\resources and updating LWJGL doesn't change it. |

That was also what I found. It does appear even if you just hold down while digging the block, though |

Ok, I think I can reproduce this, its best done just by quickly clicking a sand block and releasing. Its clearer anyway as its not overlaid with adjacent block breaking sounds. |

Sand block seems to use dig.wood for its block breaking sound. |

It's difficult to describe, I can try uploading a short video showing it. One thing I notice though: The sound played when breaking the block is one of the four sand.ogg files. What sounds are supposed to be played when in the process of digging (damaging the block)? |
