Additionally you cannot pick up arrows stuck in repeaters which are powered by a rapid clock, works the same for comparators. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.6.4 / Launcher version 1.2.5 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

This is also valid for dirt (when transitioned to grass), firing dispensers and droppers, hoppers, daylight sensors, trapdoors (when arrow can't fall through), pistons (arrows in piston base are updated trice per on-off cycle) in 1.5.1. |

|
Right clicking a repeater gives it a block update. |
| Comment by FireHunterX [ 22/Feb/13 ] |
|
Also happens if you right click the repeater. |
| Comment by Kumasasa [ 21/Dec/12 ] |
|
It does... |
| Comment by Cubed Fury [ 20/Dec/12 ] |
|
So would this apply to redstone ore maybe? Since it gets updates if something touches it. |
| Comment by Kumasasa [ 20/Dec/12 ] |
|
.. but command block and jukebox don't get a new block ID when changing state, so that issue could be generalized to "arrow sound plays on block update" |
| Comment by Kumasasa [ 20/Dec/12 ] |
|
Applies too for (at least) command block and jukebox |
| Comment by Anon Ymus [ 19/Nov/12 ] |
|
The on-state repeater is technically a different block. The game probably assumes that a new block is instantaneously being placed there. |

Confirmed. Because they get updates, they also don't appear to de-spawn (though i didn't test for too long, but other arrows around the area DID de-spawn) |
