The recipe for turning wool white is broken. You can turn white wool white though. |

Yes, but you can change sheep of any color to any other color, including white->white, which is possible but pointless. i.e. the 'dyeability' of wool blocks is different depending on whether or not they're still attached to the sheep. |

You could never turn coloured wool into white wool. |
