Does this still occur in 1.4.5? Was this on single player, or on a server? |

Are you on a flatland world which is already 230 blocks high ? |

In 1.4.5, I had no problem to build up to 255. Have you a new map or an old one? Create a new world and test it in 1.4.5. |
