 Description

i was experimenting with mine carts when all of a sudden a zombie came...so i killed and and it dropped rotten flesh right on the rail. when my empty mine cart came around the corner it got stopped by the rotten flesh

What I expected to happen was the mine cart driving through it

Steps to Reproduce:
1. make a track of rails...which kind and how long do not matter.
2. drop any item on the rail..it seriously doesn't matter which one because it works with all of them.
3. Make a EMPTY cart drive against it

The minecart is also stopped when ridden by a player. IMO at least in this case the player should pick up the item without stopping the minecart.

really? lol this is the first time i had heard about it.... and it really messes up some redstone contraptions when you make a mob killer for example and they drop loot. it would stop the mine cart and you would have to manually push it agian

I believe this is not a bug and may be intentional as this has been around for a while and many big names in Minecraft have commented on this occourance in the past.
