While you fishing with the fishing rod and click MouseButton1 (for striking with the rod) the fishing line is in the air. You see it on the photo. |

That's not the same issue, it's another issue that the fishing line goes up instead of down when casting. |

Wait, this was marked as fixed already. Are you sure you encountered exactly this bug? MC-6579 is very similar. |

Yeah, in 15w32c, it's still not perfect, but it is much improved. Since Mojang obviously changed something deliberately, if they think it's good enough, then it's good enough, and they can improve it more later if they feel like it. |

Still a concern in 1.7.4, 1.7.5, 14w08a and 14w10c |
| Comment by [Mod] Ezekiel (ezfe) [ 26/Jan/14 ] |
|
Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w04b? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Confirmed for 1.7.2. Swinging to the south works fine. Swinging towards the north breaks as displayed on the screenshots. |

confirmed for 1.4.6. Swinging to the north makes it go up (upside down?) and swinging to the south looks fine. |
