I tried to figure out some bugs about mobs, because I love mojang so I want to help them, and I trapped mobs and let anvils fall on them, and noticed, that bats don't have any kind of affect when anvils fall through them. Thank you |

Closing due to no response in 2 months. Also... "In the code, bats are their own type of mob." therefore may not perform as expected of normal mobs. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.6.4 / Launcher version 1.2.5 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

A falling anvil is similar to falling sand. It does not damage you or any mob. Currently this is an intended behavior. |

I figured it out! Bats are have damage from anvil if they are on the bottom block, basically where does the anvil stops falling. If they are flying above the bottom block they are NOT getting any damage. |
