 Description

On a server I usually play, I was building a redstone contraption, but while trying things out, I noticed a bug with placing redstone in certain areas. If you have block placed behind a piston and on top of a second extended piston, and you try to place redstone dust on top of the block and a redstone torch on the side, the block will pop off with the redstone and torch. This does not always happen, and it seems to be random, unaffected by block updates. It does occur, however, if you place both the redstone dust and the redstone torch, and then break the redstone torch. This might mean that a redstone update could be causing this to happen, but I have no idea.
