I didn't test this in 1.4.4 but in 1.4.2, if you place a torch at the side of a block, cover all of its sides and the top of it(don't place a block under the torch so that you can observe but I'm pretty sure that this problem even exists if you do) like in the pictures, you will see that the block that is occupied by the torch will be darker then the bottom of the torch. It is a lighting bug. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |
