 Description

If you are building a slab decking, say, and you hold SHIFT and walk backwards to the edge, looking down. You correctly fail to fall off. If you then place a slab on top of the slab you're standing on, turning it into a full block, you fall off immediately. It's really easy to do this when trying to build and one falls off quite often.

Yeah it seems like it got fixed then, resolving as such

Hmm, ok I just fired up 1.4.7 and - I can't reproduce it either! It must have been fixed in one of the recent minor versions?

That's exactly what I'm unable to reproduce. Not even if I sneak to a corner.

You can place a slab on a slab when standing on it, so long as you:

  • Hold shift to enter sneak mode, while standing on the slab
  • Walk backwards as far as possible - it's almost like you're floating in space off the edge of the slab
  • Place another slab - you will find that you move backwards a bit and fall off the new slab

This is not usually dangerous, but in my case I was building a jetty and continually fell into the water, which was annoying.

Unable to reproduce as unable to place a slab ontop of slab when standig on it.
