Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Game Mode: Survival

 Description

Even when minecarts are facing down a hill they do not aways fall, even when a piston pushes them.

What I expected to happen was...:
That the minecart would go down the slope.

What actually happened was...:
The minecart got stuck facing downwards

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a piston pull down the block the minecart is on.
2. Make another piston which will push the minecart (with a repeater delay of 2)
3. Make track which goes downhill.

(I have included 5 screenshots showing different examples of this, all on the same map)

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Still an issue, and still occuring in newest snapshot (13w07a).
Since nothing has changed with minecarts (exception the addition of activator rail)

No answer on querry, assuming not an issue anymore.

It seems like this works as intended. The inertia of the cart is greater than the gravity, in other words.

In 1.4.7 too?

Comment by Valdamoon [ 14/Nov/12 ]

1.4.4 has been released, and this issue is still happening.

Normal track.

Which kind of track is below the cart?
