 Description

If you have an item frame on a wall with an item in it - if a creeper blows up near it - it will disapear compleatly without dropping the item frame or item - if you then log off/restart game it will appear again - Not sure if it is a bug or my computer

Duplicate of MC-1673.

I suspect this is because item frames are entities and not blocks. If creepers couldn't destroy entities either with mobGriefing off, then they wouldn't be able to harm any mobs.

Cant use minecraft now - will test 1.3 soon

ok - reproduced - dropped item frame however mobGriefing was false so should not have dropped it - this is with 1.4.2

Comment by Mustek [ 07/Nov/12 ]

mobGriefing false gives the same rules as before.
Can you see if this happens in 1.4.3?

Comment by Aden McKinley [ 07/Nov/12 ]

it is probably just may mac glitching

Comment by Aden McKinley [ 07/Nov/12 ]

sorry - this was with /gamerule mobGriefing false

maybe also only 1.4.2 (forgot to test 1.4.3)

Comment by Mustek [ 07/Nov/12 ]

Unable to reproduce on 1.4.3. The itemframe and the item in it just dropped, without the need to relog.
