| Description |
|
The pumpkin-derived lantern is "Jack 'o' Lantern" in game. That shouldn't be a quoted "o", it's the Irish patronymic prefix, or alternately an elision for "of the". Any of the following versions would be reasonable: jack o'lantern (that is, capitalized only when any word would be, and only the J) |

Agreed. US English does not have a translation project, it is the original game language. Accordingly, this needs to be handled as a game bug. |

Mustek is wrong, Do is right. US English is the master language - hence the use of 'Cookie', 'Armor' etc. as the primary text labels for these items. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think en_US is the original language, and as such the en_US language strings can't be altered via crowdin. At least, I can't find a way to do it, so I'm reopening this. Again, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Minecraft uses en_GB as default. |

But there is no en_US translation subproject at crowdin.net. Despite what you say. So it is not a translation issue which can be fixed there. Hence this bug should be reopened. |

I agree it does need to be corrected. However "translations" include all language presented to the end-user, whether it be English, pirate, or Swahili. Which means Chalmes is correct. How to approach translation issues are being discussed by the mods and Mojang, but for the moment it does not belong here. |

This is a translation issue. Go to the crowdin translation project for things like that (even en_US is a language file!). |

But this is not a translation issue. This bug should be reopened, IMO. |
