Thus it doesn't indicate anything for this issue. |

99% sure this is intended. If not, this would be one of the most commonly known about bugs. |

Still in 20w09a for Wolves, Pigmen (Now Zombified Piglins), Bees, and Silverfish. HOWEVER, this does not apply to Piglin. If you're wearing gold armor and one-shot a Piglin, the others around it will become hostile. |

Please link to this comment in the description The following is based on a decompiled version of Minecraft 1.10 using MCP 9.30. The reason for this is that the method net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.updateTimeLightAndEntities() first handles packets. This means that the health but also the AI target is set first. It is important to know that this causes does not cause the mob to direct call for help. After that the mob is updated. The problem is that the method net.minecraft.entity.EntityLivingBase.onLivingUpdate() which calls the method net.minecraft.entity.EntityLivingBase.isMovementBlocked() which tests if the Health of the mob is equal to or lower than 0. If this is not the case AI tasks are updated. Even if this would be changed, which might cause problems with other AIs, a different problem would be that the AI task net.minecraft.entity.monster.EntityPigZombie.AIHurtByAggressor only runs every 3 ticks. |

Is the general theory that the pigmen are intelligent enough to see that one of them was killed even though they are zombies? Or that the hit pigman does a kind of shout or sending out pheromones or whatever to alarm the other pigmen? |

Some people kind of like this, it's helpful with getting rid of annoying pigmen that get in the way, however I can see how this could be considered op, thoughts? |

|
Not sure if this is an issue but when you kill silverfish in one hit, monster eggs won't break open. |

Apparently this is confirmed for 14w30c based on my testers. |

I can confirm this on latest 14w25b (shot with Power 5 Bow) |
| Comment by Kumasasa [ 20/Feb/14 ] |
|
Yes, probably. This ticket was extended from "Wolves" to "Wolves / Pigmen" with 14w06b |
| Comment by Whilyam [ 19/Feb/14 ] |
|
This was not an issue in more recent versions as I have been attacked even though I killed the pigman in one hit. I still need to test this, but I would assume this would coincide with pigmen getting the zombie AI. |
| Comment by Kumasasa [ 19/Feb/14 ] |
|
No, see the top of the ticket:

This issue has apparently come back in the latest snapshot? |
| Comment by [Mod] CubeTheThird [ 26/Sep/13 ] |
|
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.6.4 / Launcher version 1.2.5 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Not only that, it needs to be reopened, since the issue described now is different from what it appeared to be when it was marked "Works as Intended". However, it may be necessary to create a new ticket, with a clearer description. |

so... someone need to change it to confirmed, right? |
| Comment by FireHunterX [ 23/Jan/13 ] |

Above comment is correct. This is not about tamed wolves, it is about wild wolves. I will add this to the description. |
| Comment by [Mod] Torabi [ 11/Dec/12 ] |
|
It should be clarified that this is about wild wolves, not tamed wolves. From Grum's comment, it looks like he thought this was about your tamed wolves not becoming angry at something you hit and kill, rather than wild wolves not becoming angry at you for killing their packmates. |
| Comment by Scum [ 08/Nov/12 ] |
|
Xavier is right, this shouldn't be how it works. I would be more angry if my friend died before my eyes than if my friend was just punched. |

|
This seems a bit off... |
| Comment by [Mojang] Grum (Erik Broes) [ 07/Nov/12 ] |

They get aggressive towards the thing you hit, if you kill it .. they are happy. |
