CHK:
Confirmation Status: Confirmed

 Description

Toggling fullscreen with F11 doesn't update 'Fullscreen: OFF/ON' in Video Settings and assuming it was correct beforehand, displays an incorrect status until it is either toggled back with F11 or the status toggled to suit with the button.

What I expected:
When using F11 to toggle fullscreen the status 'Fullscreen: OFF/On should update.
What happened:
The status doesn't update and stays the same

To reproduce:
1. Navigate to Video Settings
2. Hit F11
3. The status is incorrect (assuming it was correct beforehand).

Still in 14w10c

Affects 13w09b.

The code change seems right. For the sake of consistency, I would make minecraft.toggleFullscreen() set the option value. Makes debugging just a little bit easier.
Otherwise, yes, this should be fixed very soon.

Fix

Minecraft.runTick()
    ...
    if (Keyboard.getEventKeyState()) {
        if (Keyboard.getEventKey() == 87) {
        //this.toggleFullscreen(); // Does the toggle but does not change and save setting
        this.gameSettings.setOptionValue(EnumOptions.USE_FULLSCREEN, 0); // FIX; toggles setting and updates video mode
    ...
GuiScreen.handleKeyboardInput()
    ...
    if (keyCode == 87) {
        //this.mc.toggleFullscreen(); // Does the toggle but does not change and save setting
        this.mc.gameSettings.setOptionValue(EnumOptions.USE_FULLSCREEN, 0); // FIX; toggles setting and updates video mode
        return;
    }
    ...

Tested on 1.4.7

I stand corrected.

You have to press Fn-Alt-F11 in order to get it to work.
Shows fullscreen "OFF" when it is indeed fullscreen.

Reopenening for the way better description.

Comment by Do [ 26/Oct/12 ]

Torabi, I would, but MC-202 has more relevant discussion, so we should probably continue discussion there.

Comment by [Mod] Torabi [ 25/Oct/12 ]

This is actually the better written of the two reports. Mark MC-202 as a duplicate of this one?

Comment by 5ives [ 25/Oct/12 ]

Sorry, won't happen again! It doesn't look like I can delete it. I have other bugs to report, would it be appropriate to turn this one into a different bug report?

Comment by Nathan Workman [ 24/Oct/12 ]

Search!!! This has already been reported you should add to that post instead of making another one.
