I couldn't use the silly little screenshot uploader so here it is in file form.

These are before and after shots. I have moved the bed into the centre of the room to make sure it has enough space. After sleeping in it, I suicide.

Instead of returning to the bed player is sent to original spawn with message "bed missing or obstructed"

Also this is in on version 1.4.4 as I updated just this morning

For a bed to be a proper spawnpoint certain conditions need to be met, for instance there needs to be at least one opaque block with an air block on top right next to the bed. So for debug reasons a screenshot would provide enough information to confirm if it is a bug or not.

I can confirm this, so darn annoying when you die and you should respawn next to your bed, then just walk 20 blocks to pick up your items, but no, you reappear 2000 blocks away at the original spawn point!

Please post a screenshot of your bed setup
