Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed

 Description

This bug makes the OPEN fence gate texture look somewhat transparent.

This is how to "re-create" the bug:

1. Place a block. (any kind of blocks like sand, wool, wood etc. work)
2. Place a fence gate right next to the block.
3. Open the fence gate.
4. Notice how the texture becomes "transparent".

NOTE! The first TWO fence gates on the left are not bugged, but the other two that are stuck to the sand blocks are bugged :l

I also confirm this bug! This bug only occurs when you connect to blocks. Wait Cloudy, theres a 1.4.3 coming? Dont tell me it is! I alreayd have 7 mods updated of 15 x.x

Comment by Cloudy (Aaron Mills) [ 25/Oct/12 ]

Yes, because it will be fixed in the next Minecraft release.

Running 1.4.2-pre still having this error, tried removing and replacing the fence. does not occur when block is connected to fence or cobblestone walls.

psst its fixed.

I've tested this and the only thing I've found so far is that this bug does not occur if you use glass block or ice.

I haven't tested them all, but I will keep testing.

Comment by Gravity [ 24/Oct/12 ]

Yes, the transparency seems to occur on the side opposite the block placed.

Thanks for the clear pics

Also I believe that the texture is only bugged on one side of the fence. And that side is the side that is not next to the block.

I also encountered this bug and will post pictures of my encounter!
