I can confirm this. I was flying around in creative and arrows would shoot out, and then stop almost like they stopped on the air block. a second later the arrow would actually reach its destination. Mac OS X 10.8.2. Java 1.6.0 |

Hmmm, can't reproduce this. If I don't pull back enough, the arrows won't fire. Any length of drawback causes the arrow to move forward, and slowly dip down towards the ground. I'm not seeing what you're showing in your screenshots. However, it does look similar to |
