On flatland, the trees that have been generated when the world started (I mean if u make a sapling grow it won't have the bug) when u remove it, close game and reopen it, tree is exactly how it was and you still have the wood from the "old tree" u had broken |

If you don't save and quit; it won't save the game completly. Minecraft auto saves every few seconds, but not everything gets saved. |
