when you look into a body of water, like a lake or ocean, there are no fish, yet when you use a fishing rod fish appear out of no where as the item. |

Technically a Fixed Bug, fish have been added in 1.13 snapshots. |

oh i thought this was a bug, cause they have fish items but no mobs |

Fish do not appear simply because they do not exist - a fish mob has not been implemented. |

fish have been this way since the introduction of the fishing rod way back in 2010 with alpha. |

Bug means does not work as intended. MC is supposed to work this way, hence not bug. |
