Potato glitch What I expected to happen was the potato to grow normally after being planted without a water block(which is how wheat, pumpkin stems, and melon stems act.) What actually happened was potato uprooted after a few seconds. It acted just like a tilled dirt block with no water near enough to it for it to get hydrated Steps to Reproduce: |

Its still happening on some tiles under Linux, under Minecraft 1.4.5- the blocks are hydrated too. |

This just started happening for me too, though it is slightly different. The potato or carrot will still uproot after a few seconds, but will pop out instantly if there is another crop planted beside it. Steps to Reproduce: *Edit: Just checked, and the same thing is happening with wheat and anything else placed in tilled soils. Attached a screenshot to better demonstrate? |
