| Description |

When punching trees (especially with powerful tool) game becomes extremely laggy. Turning off 'advanced opengl', turning graphics quality from fancy to fast and turning off advanced lighting helps a bit but process still stays very laggy. |

It was still a concern 1.4.5 but I upgraded my hardware since then and I can't check this out again any more. |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

The lag do not depend on render distance and stays same on different distances set. Powerful tool - in example efficiency axe. Not using mods. |

In this case I would have to assume the lag is mainly due to your system specs. How far do you have your render distance set? What do you define as powerful tool? Do you have any mods (ex Optifine) installed? |
