Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed
Game Mode: Survival

 Description

Jumping off a block <1 meter high causes the player to be glitched back to the position from where they got onto the block (i.e. flower pots, slabs, etc.) Not tested yet on single-player.

Ex: If you get on top of a flower pot facing west, and jump off the flower point facing north, you will be glitched back to the position you were in before you you got on the flower pot.

**UPDATE** This problem does not occur in single-player, it has been tested and no evidence has been found proving that the problem persists in single-player as well.

Steps to re-create:

1. Get a block lower than a meter high.
2. Place it on the ground.
3. Get on it.
4. Jump off it, you will notice that your player is glitched back to the coordinates you were in before getting on the block

Still unable to reproduce.

I still have the problem, a good way to check would be to place a stair one block above water, and try to jump from the water onto it, it'll glitch you back into the water.

Unable to reproduce in SMP 1.4.5.

I cannot confirm this in 1.4.4.

Yes, it is still a concern in the current version as well.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
