I have a Halloween world, and I spawned a few bats with spawn eggs. Five minutes later, they were all gone. Same with iron golems |

I was on peacefu mode, and the bats/golems were in a glass container. |

I know bats do despawn, but Iron golems too? Never happened to me. The golens may be fighting hostile mobs and getting killed, they are strong but not invincible. Your golems despawned right before your eyes or you just couldn't find them? |

This is not a bug. Bats and iron golems are not persistent. If you're make an adventure map use MC [edit] to make custom mob spawners. Also the minecraft wiki has lots of info that covers mob spawning behavior |
