| Description |

Mobs don't drop XP orbs when killed by fire aspect or flame enchantments. Shooting a mob with a flame bow, then running up to the mob as it dies from the fire, usually won't drop anything. Mobs hit once with a fire aspect sword, then allowed to burn to death, may not drop XP. |

I have the same problem. If you hit a mob a fire enchanted weapon (fire aspect sword, flame bow) and then the mob dies because of fire damage, you don't get any XP, even though you were the one to kill it. |
