| Description |

I died several times and respawned at my spawnpoint. I slept in my bed after each time. It was not obstructed like it said in the chat. This is my bed setup for the ones who wonders. |

You don't have a full block to spawn on so you cant use that bed. Try replacing the stairs with blocks and you may fix the problem. |

Reply to Kumasasa's comment: I did not change any of this and it worked, and it is a half-slab over the bed and not a stair. (I have not made any searching/testing so I can't really confirm to much about if you need 2 blocks of air above) Reply to Michael Smith's comment: I moved the bookcase and it worked, thank you so much. |

Try removing the bookcase as you don't spawn on you bed you spawn next to the bed, since there are blocks on both sides, there is no where for it to put the character. |

You need to have two blocks of space over your bed, but you have one block space, then a stairs block. |

I've had no issues with this. Can you provide a screenshot of the bed setup? |
