The scoreboard resizes itself to the values, but if the objective is longer then the values, it will resize only to fit the values. I'd also like to address how strict the scoreboard is, such as being unable to create a few small lines of text with info (also the max 16 character limit), or make a custom title for players under their name, or display something like health (on servers) I know it's not meant for that, but it would open up a lot more usages for modders, map makers and server coders. |

However, in 1.5 /scoreboard objectives add death deathCount Death Counter - Looong : that command would cause it. |

However, that looks bad and ugly due to the 0 being there, and also the max 16 character limit, so you can't make 20 characters that each represent 1 health point. |

Wait, do you mean it should be like the heart bar that is shown to you? Or displaying the number under their them? Because if its that, you can display the number under their heads too |

Displaying the health as a number isn't really the problem here, I meant to have a health bar like this displaying under the player |

Well the scoreboard can display health, use the objective type 'health' (of course without the quotes), however I can confirm that this indeed does happen to me too. |
