I loaded up a new world for 1.4 and got a chopped looking mountain. I think it may be a terrain generation bug Seed: 5237325308549975333 |

It also appeared to only happen when the icy mountain biome collided with others. |

This reminds me when I updated a Beta 1.7.3 world to Beta 1.8.1; some chunks have chopped mountains due to the new terrain generation code. |

It looks like the level.dat file got corrupted (when this happens, the seed gets lost, and superfat maps turn into default) |
