 Description

Any falling block entity in 1.5 can't have another block's texture. This breaks a lot of things, like 3D animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl1KRMMm8y0

All of the moving blocks here would look like sand in 1.5, and it's not fun. I've included 2 screenshots, the first in 1.4.7, and the second in 1.5

oops. Didn't notice. I've since tested it in vanilla minecraft, and It's still an issue. D: I'll update the screenshot.

As seen in your screenshot, you use OptiFine, and that counts as modding.

All I've used here is MCEdit, but in-game, I haven't used any mods. Does this still count as "modded" minecraft? I'd just like to know for future bug reports I make.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modded or 3rd party client/server.

  • Any non-standard client/server build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the plugin creator.
  • This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded MineCraft.
