minefold.com server, Mac OSX 10.8

 Description

I usually play on a minefold.com server, and I've noted that the latency is not always that great. VERY often, when I mine blocks, they will reappear a few seconds later. Sometimes after another few seconds they will disappear. Sometimes I have to mine them again to really get rid of them.

I am pretty sure this has to do with a high latency connection to the server because I've noticed it gets worse when my connection has higher latency.

Please don't mark something as "effects 1.4.2" if you haven't tried it in 1.4.2.

I upgraded to 1.4.2 and no longer have this issue, even with a high latency connection of 550ms. This can probably be closed.

I run into this problem quite a bit as well on multiplayer, and have latencies in the 200ms range as well. I don't think this is an unreasonable latency, so it would be great to have it handled slightly better if possible.

It seems like it should be handled better though. My latency isn't that high, ~200ms. That's not great, but it seems like it would be pretty common.

I don't really think this is a bug as such - it is the drawback to prediction in high latency connections.
