When the player is out of range of a 1X1 painting by around 38 blocks the painting will not be visible however this is not the case for larger paintings which stop rendering at further ranges, (a 2X1 at around 60 blocks and a 2X2 at around 81 blocks) etc. |

The smaller the object the smaller the distance before it vanishes for performance reasons. |

Can confirm, but it could be intended. You can't see something small from far away, but big things from far away are still visible. |
