The bugWhen 7 snow layers are stacked and if a snow block is placed behind, the layer will get darker, but when you replace the snow block with a stack of 8 layers, it's fine. |

22w12a makes the extra darkness also be casted from 8 layers onto 7 layers, so that inconsistency is gone. However, the fact that 8 snow layers cast a shadow onto 7 layers is still present, which is itself an inconsistency since 7 doesn't darken 6 and so on. I think this ticket should be resolved as Fixed, as the second issue is already covered by |

I've reproduced this error in a newly-updated version: force 1.5 update, then manual .jar replacement with the snapshot. I used a newly created world. Mac OSx 10.6.8, running the MultiMC app. |
